I've got three dogs and I'd stopped inviting my sister over because the house always smelled like them. She came by last weekend and asked, genuinely, if I'd rehomed all three. They were right behind me. Eight months of hiding from my own family, solved in one afternoon of misting the couches and rugs.

so i went next door for coffee and my neighbor has two golden retrievers, right? her house smelled like absolutely nothing. no candles, no plugins, nothing fake. just clean air. and i sat there going how?? because my house reeks of dog even though i vacuum and wash everything constantly. she pulled out her petmizer and showed me. ordered mine that night. first treatment on my living room rug and my husband walks in and goes 'what did you do, the air feels different.' we had both gone completely nose blind to our own house. i didn't know that was a thing. now when i come home from errands i can smell my own place for the first time in probably two years and it's clean.
